Race/street tires

Postby rsrdoug » Mon Jul 03, 2017 4:29 pm

In my restoration I of course need new tires. The Yokohama A008R are long past their life. I'm running 914 alloy rims with 195-60/15 in front and 205-60/15 in back. The car really needs tall tires because of the poor camber control inherent in the suspension but they don't make them in performance tires anymore. The closest thing I have found is the Toyo Proxes R1R in 50s not 6os. Anyone have a better idea?

As well, my Bridgestone RE960 Pole Positions have pretty much run their course and I'm interested in finding an equivalent performance replacement too (185-65/15 front, 205-65/15 rear).
