Front end adjustment

How much toe-in do most people put into your Spyders? I had mine adjusted to 1967 VW specs but I was told that adding more toe-in would eliminate some play in the steering.

Toe-in increase straight line stability and slow turn-in for a corner. 1/16" toe-in per side is the usual spec. Steering play shouldn't be affected and toe would be a bad way to correct it even if it worked.
