Beck 904 enters production

Postby WasserSpyder » Wed Feb 07, 2007 2:14 pm

Just FYI: Chuck is at a small race shop in Pennsylvania over the next few months finishing up on the 904 (FINALLY!!!). I spoke with him this afternoon and he was knee deep in the first chassis. According to Chuck, the first 5 cars will be ready for a Summer 2007 delivery. His exact words were \"I'm tired of f^&%ing around... production has started!\".

If you'd like more information on the project, or would like to register your interest, you can call Chuck directly. He asked me to give his cell number out to anyone who is seriously interested in the project. I will not post it, but you can PM me, or e-mail me and I will get it right out ot you.
If you would like to register interest by e-mail, you can fill out the \"request information\" form on our website. Make a special note about the 904 and I will make sure that Chuck gets it.

<<<filling out form...making special note about valerie...>>>

**EDIT** - crudbuckets. when hitting "enter" on any line, the form sends the inquiry without giving you the opportunity to go down to the other lines! [B)]

ah well. i was going to post of a joke screengrab of that form filled out, but i'm over it. if you get a mostly blank form from "simonster mcfly," well, it was a joke gone awry.

and yet again, nana is sad. :sadnana:

So you mean I shouldn't try to mail info to:

Simonster Fly
1122 Boogie Woogie Ave

:D

I am terrible with computers and use our hosts' web authoring software... The contact form is the best I can do. I've tried to change it to have drop down menus, required fields, etc... but I just about lost the whole damn thing and decided to leave well enough ALONE!!

Carey I'm also interested in the 904. Could you please send me Chuck's number?
BTW, I'm heading to Autoatlanta next week. They have a 904 replica for sale on their website: http://autoatlanta.com/carsales/904/904GTS/904gts.html
I'll try and see it while I'm there. They are asking 75K, minus engine and transmission. Is this a bad deal? Should I wait for one of Chuck's? [?]

Check your PM.

I'd ask Chuck about the one at Auto Atlanta. He'll know all about it, and what has been changed since. His initial plan was to be around $80K for a roller, but I don't know how much that has changed with production in the US, and some of the other \"ideas\" I've heard since the first production attempts.

Talked to Chuck about the 904 listed for sale on Auto Atlanta's site. It is not a Beck. It is from England. Purchased by the owner of AA and now up for sale to fund a Beck 904.

I thnk the Laneco 904 is for Steve???? At least that's the impression I got from Chuck.

The 904 will be for Steve. Apparently, I will not be allowed to drive it. Its OK if I pick out the engine and help with all the work but no driving of the 904 by Angela will be allowed. [-(

The 904 has a larger cockpit that greatly appeals to Steve. The spyder does not fit him and has thus become my car. :D
