SB100 amendment

Postby Larry Jowdy » Thu Mar 18, 2010 1:14 pm

I found this on http://www.speedsterowners.com
It looks like California may be easing the SB100 process by eliminating the 500 certificates and allowing anyone to register their car during the year.

If this passes, I STRONGLY suggest that if you have your car registered as a Porsche, VW or whatever, you take advantage of this program.

It still has a ways to go before it's passed but it's looking good

implications?

Postby RickJ » Thu Mar 18, 2010 3:16 pm

hmmmm.......very interesting - implications positive for existing cars without SB100 who will be able to register properly, positive for car makers who will find it less challenging to register newly constructed cars. .. maybe negative for the currently enhanced value of existing sb100 California cars....RickJ
