Looking to get started building an alloy car from scratch

Postby ToppUSA » Sun Jul 12, 2015 11:21 pm

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and just got the idea to build a recreation. A few questions to get started, any idea where I can find the blue prints, or 3d scans? What is usually used for the spindles and suspension? When it comes to the buck, how are they made? It seems like two ways to go; a solid buck or one made of sheets of computer controlled plywood cuts, what are the advantages or each? How long does it take the average DIYer to form the body?
Thanks!

Hi Tyler

This might be of interest.

and this

Although in fibre glass I would think the priciples are much about the same especially the 904FF.
