I have a vintage built in 2000. I bought it in May of 2005. Titled as a 1956 Spyder. (historic plates!) I am the third owner. It has gone through some, "stuff", and needs a lot of TLC. I should be frequenting this site more often this summer for help.
I know a lot about cars. I can look at a car's headlights and tell you exactly which way it's coming.

Hello there,

Im currently building a 2012 Vintage Spyder. As long as the parts keep coming ( which has been the biggest headache of my life) the build should be complete by the early part of Feb. Im planing on adding some extras to the car such as an accurate Aluminum interior, prober working key latches, relocating the Gas Cap, etc.

As ordered, it has the banjo 4 steering wheel, 4.5 painted silver wheels, Tan leather bonnet straps on the rear, original style handbrake, currently looking for A Jamar rear cone system to use for the original shifter setup.

UPDATE:

So I have completed the installation of the rear emblems and badges, functional key latches on the hood, installed the fender mirror and roughed in the signal and tail lights. Next project i believe wil be relocating the gas cap.

Completed Vintage, 2316 type IV Raby engine, block from a 914, provides good power and lots of torque, 205/55/16 in rear and 175/55/16 in front, 16" reproduction aluminum wheels from Vintage, steering is from a 914. Gauges are authentic 550 reproductions from Palo Alto. Custom built exhaust, sounds great. Transaxle has 3:44 R/P Upgrade.
