Bought a used 2003 Vintage Spyder in 2005 Gred did make some changes, Bilstein coil over, paint with bonnet stripes. The car had a CB type 1, 2165 motor with Rancho Trany. Many changes since then, installed plexi windscreen, Russ at Fibersteel has installed period correct gauges, shifter and handbrake. Fuel cell with an alloy cover, and lots of wonderful aluminum in the cockpit. Live in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Just ordered a Vintage Spyder.

Silver with red seats, salt & pepper carpet.

Silver chassis set up for type IV (2576 in pieces in my garage right now).

Disc brakes and some reproduction stuff - gages, e-brake from Fibersteel.

I've asked to have the roller without detail finish stuff (lights, trim, interior, engine, trans). Planning on finishing the car with my 6 year old son - should be an experience!

Added: 9-2-2011 Engine came to life...

Lots left to do before I drive it (like get the exhaust finished) but still, it was a bitchin' day :nana:
