I will be going on Saturday, Aug 31. Danny, is your car ready yet? I think I ran into Lenny there last year . They usually let classic looking cars park in a special place near the exhibit area. Also, veterans get in for free.

I want to go, but may miss it as I have a wedding in CO next week and neither of my cars is quite right (The Spyder is actually still pretty not-yet-done). Dang.

Lenny will most probably be there. If my car is back together(waiting on heads) I'll bring the Spyder, Al. If not I'll take my Bimmer R100. We usually pay the 20 to park in the Porsche Corral.

Ed, I was looking forward to that Spyder. It will fool a LOT of folks.

I'd try to make it, but I'll be hiking the AT 100 mile wilderness in Maine.

I will be there every day including parade/street party in Falls Village. Bringing a 67 GMC pickup I bought on BaT Sat as they have a special party/parking for alumni. Might bring spyder one of the days. Will be on motorcycles most days as my brothers are riding theirs up for the Festival...

Missed you Eric, sorry. But I did meet Al Baran, and that was an absolute pleasure. Also ran into a couple folks from local sportscar/AutoX club.

I rode my BMW R100, and it was a perfect weather day, about an hour and a half each way. Love Vintage racing. Lots of dicing and jockeying on track.

Gorgeous day!

Great meeting Danny and Lenny at Lime Rock on Saturday. It was a great time with hundreds of great vintage cars. One of the things I like about this event are some of the "sleepers" you run into parked in the pits. Last year I found a Porsche 914 with a LS V8 mid mounted that looked stock from a distance. This year I came across this VW bug with a 200 hp type 4 motor.

I saw the car, but the decklid was closed. Neat!

Lenny was just telling me about this car tonight! Thanks. It really was a great day, wasn't it?
