SF Bay area owners

Postby rsrdoug » Tue Jun 13, 2017 3:55 am

Anyone want to plan a get together? I would be happy to host it. I can't drive my car as I am doing a major restoration. I built the car 30 years ago. I live in San Martin, just south of Morgan Hill, have a great shop and lots of interesting toys. Also If you want you can just drop by, I'm here most of the time.

Hi Doug,

Great to see a post from you. I'd love a Spyder get together. :nana: You definitely have some great toys and a terrific place for it. Hope other Spyder owners (Ralph, Doug, Rick, Tien, Richard, et al) reply to your invitation.

I'm in. Why not set a date and see if we can arrange group visit? Great to hear from you again.

Sounds good to me also... July 4 week (June 30-July 9) doesn't work for me but otherwise I'm pretty free. Maybe offer a couple dates?

Let's let the busiest guy pick a couple of dates, maybe the later half of July and see which works best. As far as participation, anybody who loves cars is welcome, maybe we can get a mini car show going? Maybe I can get my friend Richard Hatfield, former Beck owner, to bring one of his new electric super bikes. They are off the chart cool. http://lightningmotorcycle.com/
This is beginning to sound very fun!

I'm generally available Sundays (also preferred by RickJ since he golfs Saturdays). I'm also not very busy so I'll let the busy one pick a date.

I talked to Richard Hatfield and he is willing to bring a bike. He can't do it the last week in July. He will be at a salt flat in Bolivia! Also if anyone is interested in electric vehicles there is an event at Laguna on June 25. God wiling I will be there with my Electrobuggy.

Since nobody seems to have a date in mind, I propose either Sat. July 24 or Sunday July 25. What do you say?
