Why don't all of you who are coming in your 550s get here a little early so we can make sure to get all the 550s together?
At this point who is planning on being here with your car?

Hopefully I wont fly that weekend, if that's the case you can count on us being there. I'll try to find out if Dominic wants to go as well, he has a fibersteel modified 550 👍😎

I will try to be there as well. It would be fun seeing everyone. Had the spyder out this weekend for the first time in a LONG time. It was a blast as always.

Good news! Richard Hatfield called me and said that although he couldn't be here he would send a bike down for display. For those of you unfamiliar with Lightning Motorcycles it is the fastest electric super bike in the world.

I'll be driving down from the Tri-Valley area; about a 1 hour drive. If the weather is really hot, I may pull over once or twice to let my engine cool, which will slow me slightly -- it tends to run hot I per my CHT gauge.

See you there --------------

Thanks everyone for making the day a success. I enjoyed seeing/meeting all of you. I had a great time. Somebody post some photos, I was so busy talking I really didn't get many.
Thanks again
Doug

Doug,

I thank you also. It was great to see everyone and to hear about your many projects. I never thought about having my own forge, dyno and plasma cutter. I'll have to check my options!

And thanks for the info on AutoCross w SCCA. Let me know if you have other ideas. My best option now is BMW Club of America, in Marina, CA.

I have ~ four photos, but no Spyder photos!!
