I was just reading those invoices. That shifter adjustment bill! How many times were the carbs removed? The mind boggles.

How about Invoice # 929 Mirror… mount and looking into the possibility of Talbot mirrors $ 1972. ;)

Exoticars, a massively corrupt organization. Mediocre quality at the highest possible prices imaginable !

For every “satisfied” Ferrari or Lamborghini customer…they have 30 unhappy faces [:0]

The old adage "more money than sense" comes to mind.

Red "Cobra" stripes? Ewwww. Front flares look weird, as does the clamshell with the vents.

Almost 2K for a carb rebuild($1982)? Obviously I'm in the wrong line of work.

Not sure I remember but my shop charged me ~$30 to install 5 pt. belts on the passenger side so GoToWo would feel secure on the trip to Monterey.

I bought the Thunder Ranch on BAT today!
Been looking for a while, very anxious to ship back to Seattle! :)

Does anyone have a recommendation on a fitted indoor cover??

Thanks to all!

Welcome to 550 ownership. I got my cover at https://www.calcarcover.com/

Looks like you got a good deal when you look at what it costs to put one of these together.

Cool car...

Those invoices are insane. Nearly 23 hours to mount the mirrors... that's 3 solid, 8 hour days. If I took that long to do things when I built my car, I'd still be working on it now, 7 years later!
63 hours to fab and install a seatbelt frame??

How many coffee breaks are in there?

When you bill in 6 minute increments things get expensive in a hurry ;)

This same individual built a Maserati 450 S “tribute” car which he insisted should not be a copy…so it ended up quite ugly !

He claimed to have over $ 4 million in time (alone) in the creation and was grossly offended when someone offered him $ 150 K for the car :)

All I can add is; I won't be bringing my ride in there for work anytime soon! You have to wonder what the guy could possibly be doing for 3 days mounting mirrors! What I found more amazing is the owner went back for additional work items after being billed for that!
