Interesting listing. Wonder why they made the dash like a 356/550 instead of an RSK.

Because TR. There wasn't a full windshield ever on a 718. RS-60/61 yes but nor 718. And after the original 90 550s, from the 550A on there was no bulkead/binnacle like the 550. It was all race car tube inside. No Speedo either, I believe tach and oil pressure etc.....

Fyi the 718 series includes the RSK, RS60, RS61, WRS and an open wheel F2.

The twelve RS60 (1960) are the only ones with glass wind screen, due to FIA rules that year.
As Danny mentioned Thinder Ranch took significant liberties rehashing body tooling traceable to the GP Spyders moulds in order to fit 356 windscreen and gauge cluster. But then, the 356 windscreen is not correct for original 550 either.

Well, yes, and no. There were a bunch of original customer Spyders from the original 90 that had glass windshields. Some even had wipers. All the replicas are wrong to some degree as the cowl was flat, not curved like a Speedster. Almost all the replicas have a curved cowl and windshield bottom.

Well Danny, yes and no to your post above (how often have we ever differed?).
None of the 718 fiberglass "replicas" have a curved dash to fit a 356 windscreen, except the very few from Thunder Ranch. (There is another odd something of a "759" variant with a cowl forced to fit a 356 windscreen.
Virtually all the fiberglass 718 shells source from the GP Spyders tooling. All have flat windscreen cowls.
As you said, At best the GPSpyders shells could be said to be "inspired" by the 718. Definitely not true replicas. The GP was more of a kit car body for a rear engined vw pan in the 80s.
GP made a custom glass windscreen and frame to fit the flat cowl - which is actually a correct feature of all the 718 spyders
