Fiber Steel 550?

I know of Fiber Steel as a company that makes parts, but full cars? I asked the owner, and he confirmed that it was built by them. Anyone have feedback on cars by them? I know of Beck, Vintage, not Fiber Steel.

Thanks.

It's a Vintage.

Odd. He’s saying a scratch build. Definitely a Vintage. Thanks.

I built my car. But Greg provided the body, frame, carpet, paint, etc. I did all the brakes, engine, trans, most of the wiring etc.

It's kinda like that with Fibersteel, they add LOTS of custom(original-leaning) touches though, way more than I could be bothered with.

So if you are advertizing a Saleen do you call it a Ford? Or is an AMG the same as a Mercedes sedan.

True, these examples are far higher on the food chain than fiberglass spyders. But similar to Saleen and AMG, Fibersteel takes the production of another manufacturer to a different level significant enough to call the end result a Fibersteel. The same can be said about the Seduction Motorsports 550.

Gotcha. So, is it a $35k car? Beck and Vintage Spyders seem to be selling in that range.

It’s a nice car, 35k is about what it should sell for, it could go a bit higher.

The one I'm building is a Thunder Ranch. Should I call it an "Ericson?"

EEricson --I think at this point what was once a product of Thunder Ranch is now more a product of you. So you earned the privilege to call it what you want.

Personally, I built my spyder. I call it: My spyder. :D
