Just met Tom McBurnie of Thunder Ranch

Postby pkpjr » Sun Apr 24, 2011 8:33 pm

We were on our way to San Diego for lunch and I thought I would drop by first to see if the place was still in business. I didn't expect to see Mr. McBurnie being that it was Easter weekend and a Sunday. He came by the shop to clean up. Long story short... Nice guy, very knowledgeable, spoke with me for close to an hour. There were a number of cars in various stages of completion. Showed the whole shop to me. I have seen previous forum topics concerning TR from unhappy customers here on this site. I hope TM has changed his ways or business practices. The aforementioned shoddiness I didn't see at the shop or in this man's demeanor. Thanks, Peter

I have heard nothing but good things about Tom and company. I contacted him several years ago to ask some questions and to purchase a how-to instruction booklet. He was very helpful. [8D]
