Firstly thanks for the midland wheel tip Richard. Set of 4 wheels ordered for less than £100, not sure how they can do that!

No idea on transmission, still trying to understand what I have, had assumed 914 box would be 5 speed but who knows. I live in Sutton Coldfield north of Birmingham. Car came alive today when I got it on the A roads up round Lichfield, it felt great. The seat has a removable cushion which when remvoved makes it much more comfortable.
