I'd like to give two or three likes to Rudy's(RBP) comment above!

And for the record, Raby dynoed my engine at 172hp @ 6000, and 147 ft. lbs. at 3800.

D, that would be fast, good low end torque at 147 and upper RPM HP at 172. I tested at 200 but at the flywheel, not sure about whats at the wheels. How much do you lose through the transaxle, who knows but I figure I have somewhere between 180 - 190 at the wheels. To be honest, I'm very careful driving mine, it would be dangerous to hit the throttle hard around a corner. In my opinion anything from a true 170 - 210 is more than enough. For the sake of discussion I could say I have 180 and I can't really drive at WOT often, too radical, its really in your face so to speak. So its only once in a while that I open it up, no one around on nice roads kind of thing.

Typically you lose around 15 to 20% going through the drive train. Since Spyders don't have a drive shaft, the number is closer to 15%

My results on a race certified dyno were a 15% loss in the transaxle. My results from the engine builder dyno vs. the race certified (dyno and scales) were significant.

Yep, that "California" dyno figure isn't only limited to Cali!

Rudy, those are Jake's engine dyno figures for mine.
