I will be 75 next month and expect to keep going as long as I can get in and out of the Spyder and my MGA. I gave up riding my 1969 Triumph motorcycle because my kick starting days are over.

I bought my 550 in 2016 and have been working on it since. It was raced in La Panamericana in 2007 and required some restoration and replacement of the race decals, wiring, interior and major cleanup of everything.
The 550 is nonexistent in Mississippi. I have the only one I know of. I bought, sold and traded over a hundred sports cars in the 1970-80's. Always wanted a 550 but had a hard time pulling the trigger on a plastic car...however I didn't have $6 million to spend on a REAL 550.

I Love it!!

Dobn't give one damn about James Dean1
I'll be 67 in December.

an update............and a correction....JRGilbert ..last auction the 550 went for $3.5mm
i got mine in 1998 i was 55..now 74 and still riding my bike.but sold the beemer ,a 1982 r100rs because it was too slow and got the kawa versy 1000....fast.....but no longer ride in south florida ( riding only in northeast and europe ) due to the people that are arriving here from riding one horse in their countries and now driving 250 to 450 horses and acting like idiots including texting as they approach you from behind when you are stopped at a light ...need metal behind me and them. and it is no longer the little old ladies ..it is now the young women texting and trying to prove that they are better drivers than men...and aggressive, very aggressive ..........SCARY ....
