Sharpbuilt or 911 Shroud Cooling Details

I have a Vintage Spyder with a Sharpbuilt 911 shroud on a Type 4, it's about 2300cc.

So, the shroud, with the lower cylinder covers, does not employ any "Cylinder Air Deflectors", which are normally installed on the bottom of the cylinders facing the ground.

There are aftermarket varieties that have come and gone like "super tin" was one I found.

It would seem to me that you would get more even cooling around the cylinders if there was something to direct air around the bottom of the cylinders, rather than simply forcing volumes of air down over the cylinders. Does anyone with a sharp or other shroud have any insight?
