Valuing a 550 Spyder replica

Whether Beck, Vintage, or Thunder Ranch, I’ve seen a pretty large range of asking and sale prices out there but don’t always understand what drives value in these cars. Early/new build? Color? Disc brakes? Engine size seems clear.

What dictates the value of these cars to you?

Details like wide five wheels, seats, sorting of the suspension, reliability, carbs and shifter, dash instruments, external oil cooler, etc.
I prefer Vintage but that's clearly just a personal preference.
As an example, if you decide on a car with 4 bolt wheels and decide later you want 5, it gets expensive.
Also some of us have updated to the new nicer rear clam. That's very expensive but results in a much prettier car.
Where do you live? Reach out to someone near you who'll educate you for beer.
