It does seem pretty empty here lately...I haven't posted much myself, but I still look in on things daily though..

I still have my car and after many delays I'm back on it. Hopefully, I will have it ready for road testing in a couple months..

It's the entropy of the universe. Another sign of the end of days. Cats and dogs living together. More lurkers than posters. Armageddon.

Holy crap, I'm beginning to sound like prototype.

But, at least I'm still here...

...in body, if not in mind.

I'm still here too. Been driving a lot, working on other projects too. Car runs fine, nothing much to report, no mods to chat about. The car is as done as any of them ever are.........

All aluminum interiour (100% original) including original pedals. All aluminum front compartment (100 % original) including original steel tank with straps and everything and finally cut out the anoing hump under the windscreen.

My wife and I are in an RV park near Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota. We have been on the road for two weeks. It has been difficult to send anything because of the iffy situation with WiFi connections. Luckily, we are in a good Wireless spot today. We have been on the road for two weeks.

We left Lewiston, Idaho last week and enjoyed a road from Lewiston to Missoula, Montana that ran along the Clearwater river almost the entire distance. The drive was sheer joy (even in a 14,750 lb. motor home, and if anyone gets the chance to get to that neck of the woods in a 550, don't miss it. I will probably bring the car north to Burns, Oregon, then east to Idaho, then north to Lewiston next September. Great twisties and super great road surfaces so far in Oregon and Idaho. The scenery is incomparable and the traffic is light in eastern Oregon and Idaho. The only caveat: dress for colder weather.

Earlier this week we visited the site of Custer's battle near Garryowen, Montana. The site is dotted with tombstones that mark where soldiers and Indians fell, and a large national cemetery also commemorates the loss of soldiers from various wars. It was somehow a sad visit, but one I had wanted to complete for a long time.

My car has been parked since we started building our new house. We sold our place in May and moved in with my parents while we build. The only thing I have done to the car since then was to buy a new cover for it. I was hopeful the wife and I could get out a few times this summer because my parents are always willing to babysit for us but there is a quad and a couple of other things parked in the way and its more trouble then its worth to get the Spyder out.

Hopefuly next summer!
