Congratulations.
Use it in good health.
Now we expect a detailed review: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

thanks Dan - I'll post some impressions soon - so far 350 miles on it -
.
interesting that when I parked it in the 'corral' at the Palo Alto Concours yesterday (Fiat and Chrysler were the marques chosen to be featured this year) - it got nearly as much interest as the Spyder typically does. Lots of people had heard about the car but had not seen one yet, or had not seen one outside a dealership (there are two near here - San Jose and Fremont) - starting it up is entertaining as it is virtually unmuffled - not quite as loud as the Spyder but pretty loud for a factory car.

Dan, all - ok - I've got about 2500 miles on it so far - they sell it with a drivers' school included - you pick your track - and I picked Fontana November 7 - so a few of us Abarth owners will descend upon Fontana and drive Fiat-owned Abarths and instructors for a day of track driving and instruction.
.
It's a Front Wheel Drive Car but you barely notice that - lots of- 'sport' mode is an option/button...the car has a tuned suspension, turbocharger, and big brakes - it weighs 2550 lbs so the car pretty well with it's 160hp/170 ft lbs of torque - It's hard to imagine but the car gets almost as much attention as the Spyder from 'car people' - who generally have only seen one in a TV ad with a tall Italian supermodel, and/or Charlie Sheen....I've not seen another Fiat Abarth on the road yet, myself -
.
AC, windows, etc work like a regular car - seating position is relatively high - experience is very 'livable' - it's been a joy!

Thanks for the review. I was put off by the front drive, but maybe I need to be more accepting ;) .
The driving school is great fun. I got a Skip Barber class with my ExigeS and really enjoyed Laguna Seca.
Be sure to take advantage of "using" the school tires. [:0]

Reminds me of when I had my mini cooper. Gixxer had bought me one and we had to go to South Carolina to pick it up so no one here had ever seen one. I loved it but it started doing some weird stuff so we got rid of it. I LOVE your new car!! I have seen only a handful of these up in the Charlotte area. They are very cool looking and I bet they are a blast to drive! :D Hope you have a blast with it!!
