Hans; Thanks for the kind words but I am sure I do not deserve them.

I see you are in LasVegas. We in Houston are used to 3 inches of rain in an hour, but that was about your annual amount the other day. Did you have pontoons on your Spyder to keep it from getting flooded?

I believe we hold the record for 48 inches of rain in 24 hours during a tropical storm, but I am getting off topic.

gt,
Dry as a bone here now. Once the great runoff is complete it's like it never rained.
Luckily the Spyder was safely in it's little nest in the Garage. Drove it today to work under threatening skies, and in my demented mind I was kind of hoping it would rain (not to much) and test it out for \"wet weather handling\".Now there is a great Idea, put a full and tight belly pan on it, paddle wheels and we have a \"Aquatic Spyder\" How about in German \"Wasser Spinne\".

I once had a 79 Vette that I bought new with huge (for the time) P255 tires and when I drove through puddles with the front tires turned, the rooster tail off the tire was impressive. The paddle wheel 550 sounds interesting. A drive to and through Lake Mead (sp) would be nice.

Soren,
George Carlin talks about passing a peanut butter sandwich through his nose in \"Class Clown\". The Nun took him to the principle's office, she thought it was a miracle!
