Couple of things struck me.
He doesn't shuffle steer.
He shut off the PSM (Porsche stability) Countless idiots sitting on the edge of the road, just where a car that lost it would go. It must take a long time to learn that road Why doesn't my 911 have rev limiter lights on the dash

I have never attended the PP run, but noticed that the road surface starts with asphalt and then turns into a dirt surface. I wonder which tire was chosen---street tire for the asphalt or an off-road variety for the dirt; or maybe a hybrid.
I've driven a GT3 (but not the cup car in the video).
Too firm for the street, IMHO.
It's without doubt a fun screamer, but I actually think the GT2 is a more practical street car.
(That's the 08 GT2, I don't know about the new one.)
But, naturally, the best of all is one of our 550s

Jay pushed the $500,000 GT up to 170 mph, after which David Donahue eclipsed that speed by another 26 mph. It was on HD Theater's \"Rides.\" The program also featured construction of the 550s at Russ Rodriguez' shop. I couldn't find any videos, but here are a couple of articles:
